KWANZAA:
Youth Crime and Violence
Prevention Program
Kwanzaa is a comprehensive
youth crime and treatment program founded by Dr. Cartanya G. Hill, Sr.
Since the mid-1980’s, Dr. Hill has provided counseling services to
thousands of youth and their families.
He has broad experience in treating chemical dependency of juvenile
delinquency, marriage and family therapy.
Dr. Hill is also prepared to work with educators and others in school
violence preventions.
Kwanzaa is all about
mentoring and teaching social values, cultural principles,
and spiritual truths to young people.
The organization is working
to involve area churches in that mission through a
cooperative program designed to develop a community-wide mentoring program.
Kwanzaa has an educational,
tutorial and structured recreational after school program.
This program is open to
service youth ages 10 - 15 years old, operating on
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
We operate on a sliding fee basis (no child turned away).
We are located at the old boys and girls club building at 223 East Magnolia
Avenue.
For more information:
