Next door to 1235 south, is an address we arbitrarily assigned as 1237 on the previous page, and that never really existed per se, a house that did not survive much past 1903.  This may have been in the location of the south lawn/garden of 1235 or maybe next to that, perhaps here at the location later assigned (late 1930s) as 1245.  By then, the Toddle House Restaurant came to be. So this address may or may not be the same location as the previous address noted on this block.

Toddle House Restaurant

Notes:   The Toddle House was here from the late 1930s until at least the late 1970s.  Memories dim thereafter from the folks that still live here and remember it as a place usually packed for Sunday Brunch during the 50s & 60s.  We haven't had time to research further, but will post here whenever we find anything new.
