Notes: Here we have 2 lots, but can only find one address. A 1920s Apartment building stands on the north lot, and an older carriage house sits alone on the south lot. We don't know the story on this. We would guess the carriage house belonged to the house of the early 1890s. The house may have been unusually large on a double lot. We have no pictures or written documents from the time to see how the land was used in that earlier period. If you can help, let us know.
By the way, there are quite a number of beautiful carriage houses in Old Louisville. This one is a superb architectural example. Shame it seems to have fallen on hard times.
