Post Card Greetings
"Derby Day, Louisville, Ky.
Kentucky's famous racing event"
Post Card Mailed in 1914
elegance of high society at the Kentucky Derby in Victorian times was
a pleasure to behold. But then again, it's much the same to this very day.
Fine ladies' Derby hats were as popular then as they are now. And even
today, it's not really considered proper to wear white in this city before
particular card made its way to San Francisco in 1914 with the message:
we are in the famous old state of Ky. where whiskey, horses and ~~ come
from. Louisville is an interesting old city, so far.
