A Window into America's Past
Post Card Greetings from Old Louisville

The Puritan
"Motel Marquette Terrace
1249 S. Third St.  Louisville 3, Ky"

An Italianate home from the late 1880s formed the entrance to this popular motel of the 40s to 60s.  The Toddle House Restaurant on the grounds was a long time favorite for Sunday dinner out.  The whole complex was demolished to build the Hildebrandt House, a high-rise retirement home.
